Assalamu Alikum,

Pray all is well. Inshallah it is one of the last odd nights of Ramadaan, lets take full advantage of these nights, for we are never sure if we will be blessed to see another one.

Here are the updates of Samaah:

1) Here feeds have changed, she is not able to handle the formula. So now they pushed her back to ones that have less calories to help ease the barfing
2) Her Infection is in the bone. It is apparently very bad. Which surprised the doctors, because they were not expecting this all. Also they were commenting mashallah because of her friendly nature and her excitement, you could never tell how sick she really is. Truly a blessing from Allah SWT. They are coordinating efforts to figure out when they will do the surgery. They are thinking next week between Tuesdays – Thursday. Until that time they will use the IV. They are just worried about putting her on general anesthesia, because last time during the CT scan her lungs filled up with water and she had to go onto oxygen But Allah SWT knows best. She is scheduled to be on the Antibiotics until Nov. 17th for now inshallah
3) The heart doctor today said once they figure out where the infection goes, they will figure out a plan about the heart.
4) Inshallah Tomorrow, they will be changing Samaah into a longer care room. This is also because she has a weak immune system…in short, this means it is PARTY TIME!!!
Take care and will talk to you all soon.

Wassalamu Alikum

What surgery is she supposed to have next week? I thought that Fareheen said that the doctors will wait for 4-6 weeks before they do the surgery?

SubhanAllah, what a bubbling bundle of a little baby! I pray Allah eases her path to recovery with the light of his mercy and blessings, InshaAllah.

Here are some poems I think you should memorize, then perform with actions for Samaah:

    "I am a pot,
    round and hot,
    filled with chocolate berry puffs.
    Tip me over,
    Tip me up,
I'll give you lovely jelly puffs!"

And...this one has a little bangla...see if you can catch it:

    "I'm a little bear,
    and you're my honey bee,
I'll dance you in the sun,
I'll twirl you round a tree.

    I'm a little bear,
    You're my honey bee,
    Your little bottom's wet,
    Chi! Chi! Chi!"

    Take Care, InshaAllah.

    Much love,

    Shoilee

    Salamalaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakah

Hope ur doing good Hassan, make dua for ur brothers inshaAllah and we shall do the same.

Thought i'd give u a few words of our creator and some from our prophet to ease the pain inshaAllah.

"Do people think that they will be left alone by saying "We believe", and that they will not be tested ? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false. " (al-Ankabut 29:2-3)

Do you think that you shall enter Paradise without such (trials) as come to those who passed away before you? They encountered suffering and adversity…" (al-Baqarah 2:214)

“And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As- Saabiroon (the patient).

Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: “Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.”

They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones”

    [al-Baqarah 2:155-157]

“Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, ‘When (will come) the Help of Allaah?’ Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allaah is near!”

    [al-Baqarah 2:214]

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Trials will continue to befall the believing man and woman, with regard to themselves, their children and their wealth, until they meet Allaah with no sin on them.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi

It was narrated that Jaabir said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “On the Day of Resurrection, when people who had suffered affliction are given their reward, those who were healthy will wish their skins had been cut to pieces with scissors when they were in the world.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi
