Born on August 25, 2006, Samaah is back in Saskatoon after spending her first few days in Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton.

Asalamu Alaikum,

Here's some video of my delicious Chamaah Mama! Look at her gorgeous smile.

Samaah Leem Hassan was born to Hassan Newaz and Naila Kibria on August 25, 2006 at 6:55 AM in Saskatoon. She had minor trouble breathing right after birth and was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect a few hours later. Samaah was immediately transferred to the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, where she was later joined with her parents and Hassan's mother and sister.

Hassan and Naila are near and dear to many of us and they are certainly grateful for the outpouring of love and well wishes they have been receiving from everyone. Unfortunately, it is difficult for them to give due time and attention to every well wisher. We have, therefore, setup this blog to provide continuous updates on Samaah. Remember Samaah in your duas and feel free to leave your well wishes and questions on this blog and we will pass them on to Hassan and Naila as soon as possible.
